For Them

My body knows no fear
For my self
And the dimming of my light
Only my soul fears
The emptiness inside

My heart aches
For the ones that I love
My thoughts are of those
Who walk in innocence
That they may know joy

And have laughter and bliss
Fulfillment and growth
In a world that is dark
And a world that is beautiful
There among all the strife

May they find peace and see light
